Concealer is widley used under the eyes to cover dark circles and puffiness. It can come in all shades that can mask and even out your skin tone. For dark circles, I have seen a lot of women making the mistake of using a very light concealer and it enchancing the dark circles. Do not do this, find a shade that is slightly darker in that area and use your lighter shade in the corners of your eyes. You will see a lifted and open appearance while covering the dark. Puffiness can be a little trickier, but you can do it. Take your concealer brush with concealer and apply over and in the shadowing of the puffiness. Pat and fill in the area. When applying powder to the area roll your sponge from side to side to set your work. This will create a more even, leveled appearance creating the illusion that the puffiness is gone. Remember this:
1. Yellow concealer is for darkness
2. Green is for redness
3. Pink/Mauve is for blue undertones
4.Lavender is for yellowness
I hope you found this helpful and please try using a combination of more than just one concealer and see how it works for you! You may find out that it improves your problemed areas that need to be hid. Give it try and good luck! Much love and hugs!!!
