Know your TRUE BEAUTY

In the years past, I had clients that would come to me coward and bent over with grief. I would smile and ask, how could I help them?  They seemed to have a universal sadness that screamed, I feel ugly. I since realized how many women feel unattractive some of the time and most of the time. It saddens me to know this and at times, angers me also.

There may have been a time when these poor souls were told some hurtful things about their image that led them to believe they were very unattractive. Some may have a feature that stands out and is large or a scar that can not be hidden. What ever that was said or done, it remained deeply rooted to the entire being and as a person.

Working in the field of beauty and doing makeup, your clients/customers share some life stories with you and in some terms, it becomes like a counseling session. You find out things that are so personal that you feel like a person's diary, holding and carrying one's secrets. Most of the time, I took these opportunities to speak from love and with a caring heart to lift up their spirits,  pointing out their strengths, and hidden beauty.

I would love for all women to know that you do not need someone else to tell you that you are beautiful or pretty. You do not need high end clothing, makeup, or lots of money. Know your heart, be a giving spirit,  help others, love others, forgive them, and listen to them. Look in the mirror and see at least one feature on your body or face that you like or is satisfied with.

Feel comfortable in knowing that not every person feels secure all the time. I admit it is nice to hear my husband compliment me when I get all dolled up. I love the look he gives me and smile while starring into my eyes. I wish others could know their worth and feel confident. For me, I love color and there have been many colors that change my mood and lift me up. When I blend some and some great music together, I feel as if I am on top of the world. I do a happy dance! LOL...

I do truly wish if there is anyone out there that feels sad, unattractive, and worthless---know this, you are not! You are uniquely made by a creator(GOD) that is the greatest artist of them all and he makes no mistakes, just beautiful master pieces! You can find your true beauty within and when you do, LET IT SHINE!!!
Much love and hugs to you all,

Joy
