For the love of PINK

HAPPY OCTOBER, everyone!! This month is Breast Cancer Awareness and the color they use is one of my favorites!! Yes, I love the color PINK!! And yes, I have a lot of it!! LOL.... I am a girly girl and it makes me feel fabulous! Since I am married, I know my sweet hubby would not want as much pink in every room like I would so I try to hold my urge of decorating all things in my fave color. He has been good to not say as much about all my decorating and I love him for that! He knows I have good taste and know how to make a room look fabulous for everyone.

I have however, been doing some re-arranging in some of the rooms and he has given me his approval to re-decorate our bedroom of which the walls will painted a light pink. He knows that it helps my mood and makes me happy. Besides loving pink when I wear it, I get a lot of compliments and some say that it makes my face glow. I also find love for the color RED! Yes, red and pink look beautiful together if you have not noticed. The red that I like is not an orange red, but a blue red...a cooler toned one.

I will have to say I wear lot of blue-red and have been known as the "WOMEN IN RED" ! Especially for my lips. Thank goodness I am not color-blind and can see the true undertones of colors of which helps me with my craft as a makeup artist.  Have you really thought about your favorite color or colors and how they make you feel?? Just starting off your day with what is around you really can lift your mood or bring it down.

When you get a chance, look around you and see if you need to make a change of course, you do not have to use pink, but see if you could use a different look and feel. Our seasons have changed once again and while I am not big on too many dark colors, I still try to use variations of many shades of pinks, reds, and others.

Don't get stuck in a color funk!! LOL.  I will post some pics on many things that are pink and lovely to celebrate, "BREAST CANCER AWARENESS" and I pray that all survivors remain cancer-free ! Please share what your favorite color is and how it makes you feel! I would love to hear from you!!

This my PINK vanity chair that my hubby bought me!! LUCKY, HU?? Yes, I am!

Much LOVE and HUGS,

JOY
