Saving FACE= No Makeup DISGRACE

Happy Monday, Everyone!!

I know what could be so happy about Monday, right?? Well, it can be if you have a good skincare routine, where your skin looks healthy and radiant! So, what do you use in treating your skin giving it the needed attention it deserves?

Let me ask you this? Do you know your skin type or are you confused feeling like it changes daily or weekly? Then it's time to do a detailed check off list in what your skin is trying to tell you.....

Time to break it down, my friend because truth be told....good skincare means your makeup will look better!

Normal Skin Type

Normal skin is not too dry and not too oily. It has:
  • No or few imperfections
  • No severe sensitivity
  • Barely visible pores
  • A radiant complexion

Combination Skin Type

A combination skin type can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin). Many people have combination skin, which may benefit from slightly different types of skin care in different areas.
Combination skin can produce:
  • Overly dilated pores
  • Blackheads
  • Shiny skin

Dry Skin Type

Dry skin can produce:
  • Almost invisible pores
  • Dull, rough complexion
  • Red patches
  • Less elasticity
  • More visible lines

Oily Skin Type

Oily skin can produce:
  • Enlarged pores
  • Dull or shiny, thick complexion
  • Blackheads, pimples, or other blemishes

Sensitive Skin Type

If your skin is sensitive, try to find out what your triggers are so you can avoid them. You may have sensitive skin for a variety of reasons, but often it's in response to particular skin care products.
Sensitive skin can show up as:

*Be advised too, that hormones, stress, diet, and one's habits can also affect your skin. Our skin is a major organ that covers our entire body, requiring much care through the years as we age. What you do now can and will affect you in needing a radiant, healthy look.

*Be knowledgeable in finding out what works best for you. Also, know that your skin care may change over the years as well. We all want to feel and look beautiful and it starts by taking care of yourself from the inside out!

Steps to follow daily in your skincare routine:
1. Cleanse
2. Tone
3. Treat (serums, masks, etc--2/4 a week depending on need and results)
4. Moisturize (both day and night)

As always, I love helping others in feeling their beautiful best with much care and understanding! Let me know if you found this helpful or in need of any other information.

Much love and hugs, always!♡

JOY
