Pretty PROTECTION.....for the FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST

Hello Loves! I want to discuss a very serious subject that I think could save your life. As a freelance makeup artist, you get contacted about jobs from many people that you do not know. Many requests for jobs are in unknown areas/locations, that visually you are not familiar with.

In order to be safe you need to know where you are going. Is the area well-lit, near other businesses, does it look shady?, what people do you see?, and do you feel safe?
Usually, you can get a feeling that tells you otherwise. Pay attention to that!

Having someone go with you to a job site can be a great way to determine if you proceed with the job. Also, go to a self-protection class. You can never be safe when it comes to your own safety. You can always carry a form of protection with you.

Always make sure you receive proper training when carrying any form of protection. Below are examples of protection that you can have on your person.

1. Pepper Spray

2. Noise maker
3. Stun Gun

4. A Gun

Now please keep in mind, these are only options that you can choose from when it comes to safety.
There can and will always be some shady characters out there , waking up each day planning on how to scam, deceive, and steal from innocent victims.
Don't let one job turn into your last!

Hope each and every one of you find the above helpful and informative. I don't mean to scare you, but to be informed. If a potential client can not determine a location or acts wishy-washy about it......be cautious!  I want you to be safe and succeed in your artistry.

#all above photos and safety products are from www.safetygirl.com

Much Love and Hugs,

JOY
